We arrived at Fidels campground and had a wonderful fire along with wine, brie warmed up on crackers and cheese, avocado, sliced oranges, and hot dogs. Everyone enjoyed the almost full moon and great company. We then went to Malarrimo’s and had our hot showers and a group dinner that was optional. They sell a wonderful line of soap that exfoliates (oatmeal and coral) that I have only seen here at their store.
The next day we all had a surreal experience of seeing mama and baby grey whales looking at us while we were in awe of them. We were fortunate enough to be able to pet so many whales large and small, we lost count. Everyone had stories and pictures of their own. That night we left for San Ignacio rice and beans, everyone went to see the mission and stocked up at the local grocery store for our beachfront camping.
