We joined Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours in February of 2018 for what was to become for us an experience of a lifetime; especially wonderful because of our very capable Wagon Masters, Jose and Lorne Parker.
We left the orientation meeting held in Potrero Regional Park, California with Great Spirit. Our trepidation of traveling to Mexico turned to confidence because of Jose & Lorne exhibited knowledge of Baja travel coupled with their fun approach. We never doubted that should we run into a problem they would help to resolve it and it was evident that their goal was to ensure that all of us have a good safe time while experiencing all that Baja had to offer and while learning to love Baja as much as they obviously did.
Their knowledge was constantly being demonstrated through small things like knowing where the best laundries were or being able to guide all rigs into very tight parking spaces. As we traveled they kept us alerted to road hazards like roving cows, goats, man eating potholes, oncoming traffic, and Topes (speed bumps). They supplied us with dog biscuits to be used to make friends with the little dogs that it seemed were everywhere. Even their rig was loaded with toys to enhance our experience including two kayaks and a four wheeler beach buggy.
Loren & Jose took care of all the guest needs before taking care of their own. If it seems that we are high on Jose and Loren we are! They are definitely people pleasers.
We had a wonderful trip to Baja thanks to both of you (Dan & Lisa) and Josie & Lorne. Baja Amigos introduced us to so many places that we never would have found on our own. Now we feel confident about returning on our own, which we plan to do.
