March 23, 2011 – Finally we are able to cool off since we are here at Rancho Verde located on Hwy 1 at 1700′ between San Antonio and San Bartolo. Everyone really enjoyed our tour of El Triunfo including our stop into the El Triunfo Cafe for coffee and sweets (freshly baked sticky buns). After we dropped by the photo exhibition in San Antonio where silver was mined that was sent to El Triunfo smelter in the 1800;s, a great display.
When we dropped into Ciudad Constitucion on the way down much to the surprise of the RV Park, Baja & Back arrived. We learned that Barry has unfortunately been plagued with some health problems and has been in the hospital, we wish him a speedy recovery. Our stop at Playa Tecolote was hot and action packed with many Mexican families picnicking and many young folks partying over the long weekend. Although sometimes sleeping proved to be a little allusive because of the heat and the music
