Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours Inc. is registered, owned and operated from British Columbia, Canada. Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours Inc. offers escorted trips from the United States border beginning at Tecate, Baja California, Mexico to Los Barriles, Baja California Sur and return or Nogales, Sonora, Mexico to Mexico City, Mexico and return. The following terms and conditions will apply for all tours:
All fees and deposits are calculated in US Funds. These can be paid in Canadian or US funds, we accept both currencies. A $250.00 or $500 USD Deposit per RV will be required upon registration to reserve your spot within our Caravan. The $250 or $500 USD Deposit is non-refundable. The balance of fees will be due on or before 90 days prior to the scheduled rendezvous date. Upon receiving the deposit a confirmation and receipt will be mailed to you. Upon receiving the balance & final payment a Pre-Trip Information Package that includes a checklist will also be sent to you.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation by the client for any reason, received in writing 90 days or more prior to the scheduled rendezvous date will receive a refund of monies paid to date, minus the $250 or $500 USD non-refundable deposit. No questions asked.
Cancellation by the client in writing less than 90 days but more 60 days prior to the scheduled rendezvous date for a bona fide medical reason must be accompanied by a physician’s statement verifying inability to travel OR for a bona fide mechanical reason must be supported by a repair bill or estimate showing that the vehicle will be inoperable during the Caravan dates OR because of a death in the immediate family should include a physician or hospital statement or newspaper obituary will be refunded 66% of the final payment.
Cancellation by the client in writing less than 60 days but more 30 days prior to the scheduled rendezvous date for a bona fide medical reason must be accompanied by a physician’s statement verifying inability to travel OR for a bona fide mechanical reason must be supported by a repair bill or estimate showing that the vehicle will be inoperable during the Caravan dates OR because of a death in the immediate family should include a physician or hospital statement or newspaper obituary will be refunded 33% of the final payment.
Cancellation by the client less than 30 days prior to the scheduled rendezvous date for any reason will result in a forfeiture of all paid tour fees.
NO REFUND OR CREDIT will be given after the caravan begins unless due to sudden serious illness, death or serious unforeseen mechanical problems. You will receive a pro-rated refund less the $250.00 or $500 USD non-refundable Deposit to a maximum of seven (7) days.
If for any reason you decide to leave the caravan to travel and stay on your own and do not re-join the caravan again , NO FEES ARE REFUNDABLE .
BAJA AMIGOS RV CARAVAN TOURS Inc. RESPONSIBILITY:
Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours Inc.’s responsibility is to organize and guide the caravan tour. It is agreed that all persons joining said caravan are doing so entirely upon their own initiative, risk and responsibility, and have complete and unrestricted control over their actions and own vehicle(s). In respect of Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours Inc. function to organize and guide the caravan, whoever is joining said caravan agrees to assume all risks of accident or damages to themselves or their property, and hereby releases and agrees to indemnify Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours Inc.and it’s agents from all liability, loss or damage claim, or punitive course of action, whether or not caused by Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours Inc. action or it’s agents.
In respect of Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours Inc. providing clients’ optional transportation to any and all locations, whoever is joining these activities hereby releases and agrees to indemnify Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours Inc. and it’s agents from all liability, loss or damage claim, or punitive course of action, whether or not caused by Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours Inc. action or it’s agents.
Tours and excursions are to commence at the time scheduled and in the manner scheduled. We reserve the right to cancel or alter any tour or excursion, as conditions may require. Any changes are made in the best interest of the clients participating, or as a result of circumstances beyond our control. Notwithstanding optional excursions, Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours Inc. acts only as an agent for other transportation companies, sightseeing, fishing, whale watching, kayaking, diving tours etc. and is not a principal or operator for the subject services. We reserve the right to cancel or alter any itinerary, as conditions require. Changes may involve sightseeing events, excursions, campgrounds, and /or meals. We reserve the right to substitute excursions, events, campgrounds when scheduled ones are not available. Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours Inc. reserves the right to cancel any scheduled RV caravan tour prior to departure. In that event, all deposits and payments will be fully refunded, minus service fees.
Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours Inc. operators are not responsible for any additional expenses incurred due to delays caused by weather, acts of God, mechanical problems or other circumstances beyond our control.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY:
Clients are responsible for their health insurance, vehicle insurance, travel cancellation insurance, US Camping fees, personal behaviour, conduct and actions, driving infractions and fines, mechanical maintenance & repair and certification of their vehicle(s), and group cooperation. Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours Inc. operators reserve the right to eject from the tour, without refund, any client of the caravan, if his or her conduct is, in the opinion of the Wagon Masters, contrary to the best interest of the caravan, or if their actions, conduct or behaviour legally, morally or potentially jeopardize the safety & security of the group.
Baja Amigos acknowledges that every client is entitled to his or her opinion on any subject. However public expressions of Racism, Sexism, Bigotry, Homophobia and Hate will not be tolerated while on a Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tour. If a guest is engaged in this conduct they will be given one (1) warning and if it continues they will be ejected from the Caravan tour immediately. Under the aforementioned circumstances no refund will be provided.
Each client agrees to place a Baja Amigos decal on their rear of their RV where it can be seen in plain sight for the duration of the Baja Amigos Caravan.
Each client agrees to use the hand-held radio they are provided as directed by the Wagon Masters when on the Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tour.
Any client, who does not show up, deviates from, or leaves the caravan early for any reason other than the allowed exclusions, is not entitled to any refund of fees paid, but have the option to rejoin the same or subsequent caravans that season without penalty.
Clients grant full permission to any and all use of his/her likeness, including photographs shared and video taken on tour for publicity, marketing and advertising purposes without compensation.
By registering with the Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours Inc. and making a deposit, clients understand and agree to abide by the terms and conditions of this agreement. Please be advised that each adult person in your party, without exception, will be required to sign a printed copy of this agreement before the Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours Inc. commences.
