We head south on Hwy 19 from the RV Park, crossing at the Mariposa Gate (US side) and Garita #3 (Mexican side) west of Nogales, the start of Mex Cuota 15D.
We verify and finalize our tourist cards and vehicle permits at the KM 21 Checkpoint. This is a facility designed specifically to deal with tourists, RVers and others traveling with their vehicles to Mexico. This process could take 2-3 hours for the group, often even 1 RV can take an hour. Once we have completed this process we will proceed south on the 15D Cuota. Our destination is the Punta Vista RV Park in Santa Ana ((GPS 30.53556 N, 111.11642 W), Dora has really fixed the place up.
