June 15, 2011 – Well the big day is here! It has come down to Game 7 for the Stanley Cup for the Vancouver Canucks. I do not usually follow hockey much since we are away most of hockey season, however I have been following closely since our return in April.

May 8, 2011 – Mothers Day was first celebrated when the government of Alvaro Obregon imported the holiday from the US in 1922, with a massive newspaper promotional campaign the same year. Nowadays the “Día de las Madres” is an unofficial holiday in Mexico (May 10th) and celebrates both mothers and the Virgin Mary.
