March 30, 2013 – Today we returned to La Paz and Campestra Maranatha for 2 evenings and a number of scheduled excursions. After a Walmart stop we arrived at the park and it has really warmed up, no more cool breezes off the Pacific. We delayed the excursion until 3pm so everyone could take advantage of the pool and most did, even though it was not heated it was still warmish, when it is almost 35c (95f) you need to cool off.

Los Cabos at last!
March 25, 2013 – We had yet another great dinner at Vagabundos Trailer Park Restaurant last evening, sadly likely the last as the lease for Peter & Joe is set to expire at the former RV Park. With some luck and planning we hope they are open in another location when we return with our next group this November. The group really enjoyed their meals trying many different items from the menu.
Whales, Beaches & Missions
March 19, 2013 – Well we have had a busy past few days and tomorrow we depart Loreto and continue our journey southbound with a stopover in Ciudad Constitucion at Palapa 206. Everyone is looking forward to meeting Mike, Bertha, Nigel and Paclo.
Day 4-The Heat Is On!
March 14, 2013 – Here we are on Day 4 in Guerrero Negro and everyone is off to watch whales in the morning. March is always an excellent time to see the whales, this year there is over 1100 whales in the lagoon. We are sure to have a great dinner at Malarrimo’s, a real feast for seafood lovers and we all sampled some great tacos at Tony’s, one of the best roadside stands in Mexico.
Day 29 – Back In The US
March 7, 2013 – Well we are back in the US and the February 2013 Baja tour is a wrap. Earlier today we said our goodbyes after crossing the border at Tecate about 10am after a short wait. Thankfully our drive through Tecate was uneventful although we did have a drive-by from a local policeman, we have heard that Jose the Hoser has been suspended for a couple weeks after many complaints this season.
