November 26, 2014 – Leaving Loreto we drove to Ciudad Constitucion and encountered road construction as you reach the summit and start the long decent into Ciudad Insuregentis, slow but necessary, only a small section of construction remains on the road west to town now. We stopped for fuel and our shop at Super Ley, always great produce and a great bargain on Wine (3 for 2).

Lovely Loreto, BCS
November 20, 2014 – Well it has been a few days since my last blog, a combination of busy and no access to internet. We promise Fun & Adventure and there has been plenty to go around. After leaving Guerrero Negro we headed south to San Ignacio, the section to Vizcaino is particularly narrow and we did a meet a Wide Load.
We Are On Mex 1 With The 47th Baja 1000 (Mil)!
November 13, 2014 – Our drive from Villarino’s to Fidel’s on Day 3 to the beach was uneventful other than lots of traffic and a few Motorcyclists testing the margins of safety. Shortly after climbing the hill southbound from the Santo Tomas Valley we encountered new widened road, almost complete in most sections all the way to Colonet (as I recall), certainly past the Military Checkpoint adjacent to the LA Cetto Vineyards. After a couple of body breaks we had our last stop for fuel just before we set up at our destination, Fidel’s.
Back on Baja
November 9, 2014 – Day 2 is coming to a close here at Villarino’s Campground and RV Park in Punta Banda. Today we are to Ensenada, with our first stop at Art Gallery (Closed) and Cultural Centre (Open). The old casino was full of tourists, both those off the cruise ship and locals attending a fundraiser.
Sylvia Says Goodbye In San Diego
November 2, 2014 – Lisa’s Mom Sylvia fly’s home from San Diego this morning after 19 days on the road with us and almost 7000 km. Yes Surrey to Kansas to Yuma and the San Diego, what a fun trip with folks to visit, sites to see and road to drive, some Interstate and lots of smaller highways. The last ten (10) were warm with the exception of San Diego, 95F (35C) was our max in Yuma, even locals were complaining.
