Parker’s Baja Numero Uno Tour
February 27, 2018 – Days 0 – 9 With anticipation and overwhelming excitement we finally met all 14 of our Baja Amigo’s on February 9th. Lorne and I hosted a rendezvous where everyone was able to meet each other while enjoying an array of appetizers and beverages. We then went through an orientation of expectations, radio training, driving do’s and don’ts and reviewed the tour itineraries.
Baja Adventure 2018
Hard to believe we were surrounded by 1,200 grey whales in the bay. We had stopped our panga to see one spy hopping, which is the whale coming straight up out of the water with his eyes out of the water looking around, when we were surprised. None of us could believe it when a huge female headed right at us. Little did we know she was bringing her very young baby to introduce us and allow us to pet both her and her offspring for over a half hour!. It was magical.
