Today we will spend most of the day driving as we retrace our steps northward, our day includes a lunch stop in Jesus Maria. Our final leg is from the junction on Mex 1 where we will take a paved road 68 km down to the Sea of Cortez and the sleepy fishing village of Bahía de los Ángeles (“Bay of Angels”). We will spend 3 evenings in one of the most scenic spots in Baja California.
Day 38: Gonzaga Bay, Baja California

Today we head off for another beach stop, this time this Gonzaga Bay (Bahia de Gonzaga) another beautiful and tranquil destination on Baja. Bahia de Gonzaga is approximately 145 km/90 miles south of San Felipe and about 77 km/48 miles south of Puertecitos.
