October 20, 2012 – Week 1 of our southern journey was lots of fun and interesting as we left I-5 on Day 2 and headed to the Oregon Coast, something Sylvia always wanted to see. The weather was kind of iffy. And a bit wet but what would you expect on the Oregon coast in Mid-October.
2012 BC Snowbird RV Show
October 1, 2012 – The Snowbird RV Show and Sale is Greater Vancouver’s largest fall recreation vehicle show. For those that enjoy the RV lifestyle, or think you might like to try it, this is a great show. Lisa and I have been exhibitors at this show since we established Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours in 2009.
September 13th – Remember Los Niños Héroes
September 13, 2012 –Although many in Canada and most in the United States recall the battle between Texian Militia, lead by co-commanders James Bowie and William B. Travis and the Mexican Army under under President General Antonio López de Santa Anna, (Remember the Alamo) not many know about the equally pivotal Battle of Chapultepec Castle 165 years ago and the bravery of six Mexican teenage military cadets on September 13, 1847 during the Mexican-American War.

September 3, 2013 – Labour Day (Labor Day in the USA) is an annual holiday to celebrate the achievements of workers. Labour Day has its origins in the labour union movement, specifically the eight-hour day movement, which advocated eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest.
