March 13, 2015 – We arrived in Mexico City on schedule on March 10 and I will talk about our fabulous experience and meeting old and new friends on the next Blog. A strong internet signal remains elusive at these RV Parks so I find myself catching up on our travels. Oaxaca Our journey from […]
February 2016. Part 4: Home Sweet Home?
With heavy hearts we say goodbye to Mulege. It really is a wonderful little town that has survived so many natural disasters. Still there. Still flourishing. Still cute as a button. A lick of paint will be all it needs. It’s a fairly long days drive to Guerrero Negro today, and the road gets narrower […]
February 2016, Part3: The journey north begins.

Oaxaca at last!
March 1, 2016 – We have arrived in Oaxaco under sunny skies and warm temperatures yesterday lead bye Grant & Anita, quite a change since the hot steamy weather on the Pacific Coast we experienced. I have to say what a drive it was leaving before 8:00 am, arriving about 5:30 pm, a distance of only 260 km or just over 150 miles, unfortunately Bruce & Marian picked up a bolt just before our lunch break before Miahuatlan, with Grant’s help and impact gun they had it changed in no time. We climbed over 2500 meters (8500′) starting as soon as we left from Puerto Angel until we dropped into the valley at Miahuatlan. Beautiful vistas but endless switchbacks’, chalk it up to another memorable experience.
