We had an amazing trip! Lorne and Josie were simply wonderful, they are such a great couple and worked hard for all of us. We are so happy that they were our wagon masters, and it’s so nice to have them as friends now! They made sure we were able to stay together and in touch on the road, then were available to us at campgrounds all the time. Josie got up at 5 am one morning to take a group of us down to the marina to go deep sea fishing, and then accompanied the ladies shopping, and Lorne picked us up from the marina, got our fish to the cleaning dock and arranged for a restaurant to cook our fish for us and to eat as a group. The radios were a huge help while driving. It was so reassuring to see Lorne’s flashers on when a semi was approaching us, then he would also wave the driver down if he wasn’t slowing down. We learned to use our left signal light to let people know when it was clear to pass, and to use our radios to let others in the group of someone approaching from behind or in front, or in between us. We now feel confident that we can drive on our own on the Baja and have a good idea of campsites we would like to return to. The beaches were stunning, just beautiful! We especially liked the ones that had a restaurant on them (like Santispac!).
