April 14, 2001 –Lisa and I just returned from Baja on Sunday, April 10th and were shocked to learn of Barry Monkman’s, (Baja & Back RV Caravan Tours) passing on March 25 in Chula Vista, CA. We have met Barry & Vanda at a number of trade shows and last saw them in March on the road in Ciudad Constitucion, Baja Sur, with their tour. Barry and Vanada are from our neck of the woods in BC and they were very was active in the Lions club in North Delta, the service was on April 9th, the day before we returned home. Barry will be greatly missed by the Snowbird RV Community across North America and by everyone on Baja for sure.
Words cannot express our deepest sympathy for Vanda. Our sincere condolences to the family for their loss.
